Here, you can explore vibrant stalls filled with local handicrafts, textiles, and fresh produce. You will also have the chance to taste traditional Bac Ha delicacies and enjoy special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn, and seasonal fruits like plums, apples, and peaches.

Continuing the journey, we visit the Hoang A Tuong Royal Palace, an architectural gem that blends Asian and French colonial styles. After exploring the palace, we stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we embark on a trek to Ban Pho Village, home to the Flower H’Mong people. This trek offers a unique opportunity to visit traditional houses, observe the villagers’ daily lives, and gain a deeper understanding of their customs and lifestyle. A highlight of the visit is tasting the locally brewed corn wine, a well-known specialty of the region.

After an enriching day, we drive 110 km back to Sapa, a journey of approximately three hours. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and relax, reflecting on the vibrant cultural experiences of the day. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 5

You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver before starting an exciting trek down the Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic people. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore their daily life, witness traditional clothing-making techniques, and learn about handicrafts and natural indigo dyeing. As you walk through the valley, you will witness breathtaking views of golden rice terraced fields, considered some of the most stunning landscapes in Vietnam.

From Lao Chai, the journey continues to Ta Van Village, home to the Giay people, a small but culturally rich ethnic group in Vietnam. Their beautifully built houses are nestled among lush rice paddies, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Located about 10 km from Sapa town, Lao Chai and Ta Van mark the beginning of the Muong Hoa Valley. From a high vantage point along the main road, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the villages, surrounded by towering mountains and flowing rivers. As you explore, you will breathe in the fresh mountain air, admire terraced fields and streams, and visit Black H’mong families, where you will be warmly welcomed. Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi (B)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, depart from Hanoi for Ninh Binh, a scenic destination located about 1.5 hours south of the capital.

The first stop of the day is Hoa Lu Temple, the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet (an early name for Vietnam). This legendary site has witnessed significant historical events, including the unification of Vietnam after the 12 Lords Rebellion, conflicts with the Song Dynasty, and battles against ancient Cambodia. Hoa Lu also played a crucial role in shaping modern-day Hanoi.

After a local lunch, embark on a sampan boat ride along the peaceful river, passing through lush rice paddies and into the mystical Trang An Caves, a UNESCO-listed site. With towering limestone karsts emerging from the emerald waters, this area is often referred to as “Halong Bay on Land” due to its breathtaking natural beauty.
